SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– The 12th ranked Drury Panthers men's tennis team remained unbeaten as they edged Lewis 5-4 on Sunday at the Cooper Tennis Complex. Drury improved to 8-0 with the win and dropped the Flyers to 2-3.
 
Lewis took two of three in doubles match-ups with Drury's lone win coming from Nico Hadeler and Lukas Stierling. The duo got an 8-4 win over Chandler Stimpert and Brendan Peterson.
 
The Panthers prevailed by taking four of the six singles matches. Drury clinched the win as Augustin Diot beat Andre Norasith 6-4, 6-3 in the number three singles match-up.
 
Gregor Kokalj, Sacha Mourier, and Lukas Stierling also picked up wins for the Panthers in singles play. 
 
Drury returns to action on Friday when they host Northwest Missouri State at 8 p.m. at the Cooper Tennis Complex.
 
Sunday's women's match against Lewis was canceled due to an outbreak of the flu on the Drury women's team. The Panthers canceled both of their games during the weekend because of the number of illnesses on their roster.
