SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The 12th-ranked Drury men's tennis team defeated NCAA-I opponent South Dakota State 7-2 Sunday at Cooper Tennis Complex.

Drury improved to 10-1 for the year with the victory, while the South Dakota State fell to 0-11.

Drury swept all three doubles matches for an early 3-0 advantage, taking down the Jackrabbits 8-3, 8-2, and 8-6.

In singles, Drury took four of the six matches with Nico Hadeler (6-3, 6-3) and Augustin Diot (7-6, 6-2) winning at the top two sports in the Panther lineup.  Lukas Stierling got past Elliott Ward in a three set battle by scores of 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 and Leonardo Cerri dominated Henrique Stemmer 6-2, 6-2 at the five position in the DU lineup.

Drury will host Cameron University on March 24 at Cooper Tennis Complex with match time set for 1 p.m.
