KIRKSVILLE, Mo.– The Drury Panthers stayed perfect in Great Lakes Valley Conference play with a near-perfect performance in a 9-0 win at Truman State on Friday.
Drury won all three doubles matches by a combined score of 24-1. They did not drop a set in the six singles matches, and the Panthers had seven 6-0 set victories. Nico Hadeler and Augustin Diot, Drury's number one and number two singles players, both won by 6-0, 6-0 scores. Sacha Mourier won his match 6-0, 6-1 and Paul Porcher had a 6-1, 6-0 win.
The win extended Drury's winning streak to 76 in GLVC regular season play. The Panthers have never lost in the conference's regular season since joining the league in 2006.
Drury will aim for their 13th consecutive undefeated GLVC season when they end the regular season on Saturday at Quincy. The match starts at 11 a.m. in Quincy, Illinois.
