SPRINGFIELD, Mo.- The Drury Panthers won their fifth straight match and kept their conference record perfect with a 7-0 win over Truman State at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield on Friday.

The Panthers improved to 12-4 and 5-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference while the Bulldogs fell to 0-13 and 0-6 in the league.

Drury took a 1-0 lead after doubles play as the Panthers won all three matches.
Augustin Diot and
Paul Porcher blanked their opponent, Matt Thiele, and Grant Burton 6-0 while
Leonardo Cerri and
Lukas Stierling took down Jack Miller and Arpit Sahoo 6-1.

Drury completed the sweep winning all six singles matches as
Nico Hadeler, playing in the number one slot, defeated Griffin Turnage 6-0, 6-1. Gregor Kokalj and
Paul Porcher both picked up 6-1, 6-1 wins while
Lukas Stierling earned a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Matt Thiele.
Leonardo Cerri won his match-up with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Grant Burton.

The win was Drury's 82nd consecutive win in regular season conference play. Since joining the GLVC in 2006, the Panthers have never lost a regular season match.

Drury will look complete their 14th straight perfect season in the GLVC when they conclude the regular season tomorrow with a 1 pm match against Quincy on the indoor courts of the Cooper Tennis Complex.
