INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- The Drury Panthers advanced to the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament semifinals with a 4-0 sweep of Southern Indiana on Friday at the University of Indianapolis Tennis Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Drury, the top seed out of the West Division, improved to 14-4 while Southern Indiana, the fourth-place team from the East Division, ended their season with an 11-13 record.

Drury took a 1-0 lead after the doubles competition as
Augustin Diot and
Paul Porcher got past Ilia Karelin and Marvin Kromer 6-1, and
Leonardo Cerri and
Lukas Stierling clinched the point with a 6-3 win over Kooper Falkenstein and Spencer Blandford.

Nico Hadeler, playing in the Panthers number one singles position, picked up a 6-2, 7-5 win over Parker Collignon while Diot earned a straight sets win, 6-0, 6-4 over Karelin. Drury ended the match on Gregor Kokalj's three-set win over Marvin Kromer, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4.

The Panthers will play Lewis in the GLVC semifinals at 12:30 pm (Central) on Saturday at the UIndy Tennis Center. The winner of Saturday's match will play the winner of Indianapolis and Missouri-St. Louis for the conference championship on Sunday at noon at Center Grove High School.
