SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The Drury women's tennis team cruised to a 7-0 shutout victory over Newman on Sunday at Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
 
The Panthers swept the Jets in doubles play by match scores of 6-4, 7-6, and 6-1 respectively.  In singles play Newman couldn't handle Drury with the Panthers taking all six matches, a three set battle went to Drury by Kseniia Eremina 4-6, 6-2, 10-3 over Isabela Bifano at the five spot.

The Panthers improved to 5-1 while Newman slipped to 5-5-1.
 
Drury returns to the court on Friday, Feb. 28, against McKendree at the Cooper Tennis Complex with first serve set for 6 p.m.
