KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – Drury women's tennis ended their five-match skid on Friday (April 10) afternoon at Truman State, 6-1.
- Drury raced out to a 1-0 lead, sweeping the doubles line.
- It is the first time this season that the Panthers have swept the doubles line.
- Franca Piaggi (third line) added the Panthers' second point with a straight sweep.
- Naz Yaver (second line) won 6-2, 6-2.
- Ana Luisa Sathler Rosa (fourth line) and Charlotte Lesage (sixth line) each also won in two sets.
- Antanina Novik played the top line for Drury today. Novik had to play a decisive third set, winning 10-7.
- The Bulldogs' lone point came from Gabrielle Daniels on the fifth line.
- The win was Drury's first since March 6 against McKendree.
- The Panthers are 12-0 in the last 12 matches with Truman State.
- Drury has started 1-0 in GLVC play for the fourth straight season.
