NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Drury women's bowling team had a productive day in a tough field, and are currently sitting in 17th at the Columbia 300 Music City Classic.

The Panthers finished 2-3 with wins over Tusculum and #25 Long Island Brooklyn. DU lost to #14 Sacred Heart by 24, #6 Maryland Eastern Shore by 13, and #10 North Carolina A&T by four.

"I am proud of the way we competed in all matches, but particularly the final two." said Drury Head coach Larry Hughes. "The last match we were down by 40 pins going into the last game and shot 223 to win by 25.  Great way to end the day and hopefully we can use that momentum heading into tomorrow."

Drury will continue day two of three at the Columbia 300 Music City Classic tomorrow.
