SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The Drury women's tennis team earned a convincing 5-1 victory, coming Friday over Northwest Missouri State at Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
The Panthers took doubles wins of 6-2 and 6-1 at the top two spots in the lineup to earn the doubles match point.
In singles action, Drury earned wins if four of the five matches with a three set win posted by
Kseniia Eremina over Zoe Schaaders by a final of 6-4, 6-7 (10-8).
The Panthers improved to 8-1 while Northwest Missouri State dropped to 2-1.
Drury returns to the court on Sunday, March 8, when they will host Arkansas Tech at the Cooper Tennis Complex with first serve set for 10:15 a.m.
