KANSAS CITY, Mo.— Drury swept William Jewell 7-0 to improve to 7-3 and 1-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Cardinals fell to 0-10 and 0-2 in the GLVC.
 
The Panthers took a 1-0 lead and won two doubles matches 6-0.
 
Alma Abazi improved to 10-0 in singles as she moved to Drury's lead singles position and defeated Gillian Evans 6-2, 6-0. Nastasia Jedrychowski picked up a 6-0, 6-2 win in the Panthers' number two spot and Viktoriya Zheleva won 6-0, 6-0 over Michaela Esau.
 
Drury plays again on Saturday when they take on Rockhurst at 11 am.
