Drury completes regular season at Vanderbilt

NASHVILLE, Tenn.— The Drury Panthers finished 22nd among 33 teams at the Columbia 300 hosted by Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee, during the weekend.
 
The Panthers went into Sunday's bracket seeded 19th, but fell in Baker matches to Wisconsin Whitewater, Alabama State, then Emmanuel in seven games in the 21st place match.
 
Drury started the tournament going 0-5 on Friday in five traditional matches, then rebounded to win three of five on Saturday in Baker play, claiming wins over Valparaiso, Jackson State, and Louisiana Tech.
 
Anna Bartz led Drury in the tournament with 200 average during the weekend.
 
McKendree won the tournament with Stephen F. Austin finishing second, and Arkansas State came in third.
 
The Panthers will compete in the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament next Friday through Sunday in Valley Park, Missouri.
