Women's Tennis Game Summary
SPRINGFIELD, Mo.- The Drury Panthers defeated William Woods 6-1 at Copper Tennis Complex in Springfield on Saturday. The win marked the first of the season for the Panthers and brings their season record to (1-1).
Drury took a 1-0 lead sweeping all three doubles matches with wins from the pairings of Ewe Samberger/
Kseniia Eremina,
Alma Abazi/
Nastasia Jedrychowski, and Maria Espejo/
Clara Kuehnle. In singles play, the Panthers dominated, taking wins in five out of the six matches getting wins from
Nastasia Jedrychowski,
Clara Kuehnle,
Alma Abazi, Maria Espejo, and Leana Chanova.
The Panthers will be back in action at home next Friday to face Harding University. The match starts at 8 pm and will be held at Cooper Tennis Complex.
