SPRINGFIELD, Ill.— Drury women's tennis completed their second 7-0 win of the weekend with a win at Illinois Springfield on Saturday.
 
The Panthers improved to 8-4 and dropped the Prairie Stars to 1-5 in a non-conference match.
 
Drury won two of the three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead. Maria Fernanda De la Torre Ugarte Espejo/Clara Kuehnle won 6-1 and the Panthers clinched the point on a 7-5 win from Alma Abazi/Nastasia Jedrychowski.
 
Drury then swept all six singles matches. Jedrychowski, playing in the Panthers leading position, swept her way to a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Sina Skjelstad. Kseniia Eremina also made quick work over her opponent in the number six position, 6-0, 6-2. Alma Abazi improved to 11-1 this season with her 6-3, 6-4 win over Tzu Hsun Hsu. Clara Kuehnle, Ewe Samberger, and Leana Chanova all picked up wins in the sweep.
 
The Panthers return home for a 2 pm match against Quincy at the Cooper Tennis Complex.
