SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Drury women's tennis team travels to Indianapolis, Indiana, to face the Findlay Oilers in the first round of the 2023 NCAA-II Women's Tennis Midwest Regional on Monday at 9 am (Central).
The Panthers are 15-5 and seeded fifth in the Midwest Regional bracket. Findlay is 18-5 and earned the Great Midwest Athletic Conference crown last week by defeating Northwood 4-0 in the league tournament championship.
Monday's match will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
Findlay comes into this match ranked 30
th in the latest national poll, while Drury comes in ranked 41
st.
The winner of the match will take on Indianapolis, the top seed in the Regional, on Tuesday, at 9 am (Central). Tuesday's winner advances to the NCAA-II Tournament final site in Orlando, Florida, May 11-16.
The Panthers are in the NCAA-II Tournament for the 24
th time in program history. Drury has won 10 regional titles and advanced to the national quarterfinals twice.
