KANSAS CITY, Mo.— Drury won their seventh straight match with a 6-1 win at Rockhurst on Saturday at the Plaza Tennis Complex in Kansas City, Missouri.
The Panthers improved to 12-4 and 4-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, while the Hawks went to 8-9 and 1-2 in the GLVC.
Drury won all three doubles matches.
Maria Fernanda De la Torre Ugarte Espejo and
Clara Kuehnle improved to 14-2 on the season as they won their number two match-up over Daniela Lentisco and Sofia Valdespino 7-6.
The Panthers then won five of the six singles matches.
Nastasia Jedrychowski, ranked 38
th nationally, bounced back from losing the first set 6-0 to win the next two sets 7-6, 7-6, against Sofia Valdespino.
Clara Kuehnle also lost her first set but responded to win 3-6, 7-5, 7-6 over Marina Magai.

Leana Chanove, and
Kseniia Eremina also picked up wins for Drury.
The Panthers are back at home next weekend and end the regular season with a showdown against Southwest Baptist for an 11 am start on Senior Day at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
