WARRENSBURG, Mo. / AZUSA, Calif.— Drury track & field had two records fall this weekend as they competed at the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific, and the Mule Relays at Central Missouri in Warrensburg. Drury had two men's runners complete the 800 meter run under the the program's record, while
Zoe Van Dijk set a new mark in the 5000 meter run.
Highlights – Bryan Clay Invitational - complete results
- Nolan Moeller broke a program record in the 800 meter run and finished 18th in a field of 236 runners. Moeller won his heat and posted a NCAA-II national provisional qualifying time of 1:51.04
- Cole Sutton now ranks second in Drury history in the 800 meter run after finishing with a time of 1:52.56. Sutton was second in his heat and came in 64th overall
- Zoe Van Dijk set a Drury record in the women's 5000 meter run. The senior from The Netherlands finished sixth in a field of 87 with a time of 17:16.86. Van Dijk posted a personal best by nearly 15 seconds
- Jolie McClellen was 11th out of 56 in the javelin as she posted a throw of 41.92 meters

- Luz Olivera was 3rd in a field of 56 runners in the women's 5000 meter run as she finished with a time of 18:13.33
- Ashley Sexton was 10th in the 5000 meter run with a time of 18:38.92
- William Kershaw was 5th out of 60 runners in the men's 1500 meter run as he crossed the line in 3:56.73
- Kershaw was also 13th in a field of 57 in the 800 meter run (1:57.12) and Kyle Keltner was right behind in 14th (1:57.16)
- Drew Robinson was 10th out of 31 in the men's 400 meter hurdles (57.12)
- Sabrina Lane was 8th out of 34 in the javelin with a throw of 37.60 meters
- Drew Harris was 11th in the women's 400 meter run (1:03.04)
Drury's track & field teams compete again at Pittsburg State on April 20 in Pittsburg, Kansas.
