QUINCY, Ill.—Drury completed the regular season with a perfect mark in the West Division of the Great Lakes Valley Conference with a 4-3 win at Quincy on Saturday in Quincy, Illinois.
 
The Panthers ended the regular season 12-6 and 5-0 in the GLVC West. Quincy dropped to 7-11 and 2-3 in the conference.
 
Drury won two of the three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead. Alma Abazi and Ewa Samberger went to 15-3 in doubles with a 6-3 win in Drury's top double position.
 
The two teams split the six singles matches after Drury's Eliana Weichel retired. Ewa Samberger improved to 12-3 this spring with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Mahi Panchal. Alma Abazi and Antanina Novik also posted wins, with Abazi clinching the win for the Panthers with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 win over Steffi Lao.
 
Drury will advance to the GLVC Tournament next Friday as the number one seed in the West Division and will play the number four seed out of the East Division. The GLVC Tournament is May 2-4 at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
