INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.— The number 21-ranked Drury men's tennis team earned three All-Great Lakes Valley Conference nods in a vote of league coaches.
Sylvain Garin-Michaud,
Yaroslav Sharyy, and
Marlon Wilken were all honored by the league in a ceremony Thursday night in Springfield.
Sylvain Garin-Michaud earned the third All-GLVC honor of his career. The Saint Etienne, France, native is 13-3 as Drury's number two singles player and has a 10-5 doubles record.
Yaroslav Sharyy finished the regular season ranked 13th nationally and was one of two unanimous selections to the All-GLVC Team. This is the second straight year Sharyy has been named to the All-GLVC Team. The Moscow native is 12-1 in singles.
Marlon Wilken is ranked 73rd nationally and the senior from Oldenburg, Germany earned the third straight All-GLVC honor of his career. Wilken finished the regular season 12-1 in singles and 7-4 in doubles.
Drury is 14-3 and 4-0 in the conference. The Panthers will face Missouri-St. Louis on Friday in the GLVC Quarterfinals in Springfield at the Cooper Tennis Complex at 9 am (Central).
