SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Two from Drury men's tennis and three from Drury women's tennis were named to the Academic All-District team by College Sports Communicators.
Yaroslav Sharyy, a senior from Moscow, Russia, earned his second straight Academic All-District honor.
Lukas Rieber was also honored with the award. The sophomore from Augsburg, Germany, picked up his first career Academic All-District award.
From the Drury women's team,
Ewa Samberger, a senior from Lublin, Poland, earned the award. It marked her third Academic All-District award.
Leana Chanove (Jr., Guilherand-Granges, France) picked up the award for the second straight year, and
Eliana Weichel (Soph., Karlsruhe, Germany) earned her first career Academic All-District award.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have a minimum of a 3.5 cumulative grade point average and have played in 70 percent of the team's games in 2025.
The Drury men's tennis team went 13-6 and advanced to the NCAA-II Tournament. The DU women's tennis team finished 13-6 and 4-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference's West Division.
