KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – Two Drury men's runners had second-place finishes at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Track & Field Championships in Kirksville, Missouri, on Saturday.
 
GLVC Championship Highlights (Saturday)

• Cole Sutton was the GLVC Runner-Up in the men's 1500 meter run. The junior from O'Fallon, Missouri, was second in the event with a time of 3:50.22 and was just 1.51 seconds off of the winning time. Sutton's time set a Drury program record.
• William Kershaw was fifth in the men's 1500 (3:51.57) and Colby Garner was 8^th (3:53.78)
• Nolan Moeller, a sophomore from Ozark, was the conference runner-up in the 800 meter run. His time of of 1:51.52 was .70 seconds behind the league winner.
• Jolie McCellan was third in the women's javelin as she produced a throw of 40.74 meters. Sabrina Lane was sixth in the event with a throw of 34.32 meters
• Ashley Childers picked up points in two events. The senior from Ozark, Missouri, set a program record in the 200 meter dash and finished fourth with a time of 23.96. Childers broke her own team mark with a first sub-24 second 200 meter dash. Childers came in fifth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.81.
• Zoe Van Dijk was fourth in the women's 5000 meter run (17:43.42)
• Drew Robinson posted a sixth-place finish in the men's 400 meter hurdles (56.03)
• Tyler Harris was seventh in the men's 5000 meter run with a time of 14:52.03

 
The Drury men's team finished ninth in the event, two positions better than last season, with 32 points. Missouri S&T won the men's championship with 226 points and Lewis was second with 183.
 
The DU women's squad finished tied for seventh with McKendree as both teams finished with 28 points. Lewis won the women's title with 203 points and Southwest Baptist was second with 157.
