DALLAS — Drury men's and women's swimming and diving concluded day two of the SMU Classic, with both programs securing fourth-place finishes Saturday afternoon at Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center.
Louisville captured both the men's and women's team crowns, while both Drury squads edged out meet host SMU (NCAA-I) for the No. 4 position in the team standings.
For the second straight day in Dallas, the Drury men were paced by big performances from
 Belhassen Ben miled and 
Joao Nogueira. Ben miled, who
 placed third in the 400 IM on Friday, took silver in the 200 fly with a time of 1:46.31, while Nogueira registered a third-place finish in the 200 breast (1:58.43) after wrapping up a bronze in the 100 breast yesterday. 
On the women's side of the ledger, 
Gwen Bergum turned in the top individual finish for the Panthers on Saturday, placing third in the 200 breast with a swim of 2:15.26.
The Panthers' dive contingent wrapped up a solid weekend with a fourth-place finish at the Clarion Fall Classic, led by 10th place finishes from 
Claire Garrelts (1-meter) and 
Anamarie Lewis (3-meter). DU placed second in Friday's Don Leas Invitational, after Lewis placed third in the 3-meter (203.05).
Women's Highlights
	- Drury placed fourth in the women's 200 free relay, with Belen Morales, Petra Baumane, Maria Fe Munoz and Ashlyn Moore combining for a time of 1:34.04. 
 
	- Morales also placed fifth in the 100 free (50.11) and 500 free (5:02.89) for the Panthers. 
 
	- Munoz finished fifth in the 200 fly, clocking in at 2:01.53.
 
	- Nikol Maniko delivered a fifth-place swim of 2:03.31 in the 200 back, in addition to a 2:04.89 time in the 200 IM (5th).
 
	- Piera Rufino competed in the 1-meter diving competition for Drury, placing fifth with a score of 164.20. 
 
	- Garrelts (192.65) led DU with her 10th place finish in the 1-meter at Clarion, followed by Lewis (178.60) and Sophia Sechler (163.40), who placed 13th and 14th for the Panthers.
 
	- In the 3-meter, Lewis (196.20) was followed by Sechler (155.35) in 15th place and Garrelts (155.10) not far behind in 16th.
 
Men's Highlights
	- The DU men finished fourth in the 200 medley relay, as Ivan Adamchuk, Nogueira, Yuri Cabral and Matteo Vissotto posted a time of 1:27.20.
 
	- Drury's 200 free relay squad of Cabral, Vissotto, Lucas Mineur and Alvaro Zornoza placed fourth as well (1:19.84).
 
	- Vissotto placed fifth in both the 100 free and 500 free, finishing in 44.91 and 4:30.61, respectively.
 
	- Adamchuk also logged a fifth-place finish for the men in the 200 back with a time of 1:46.38.
 
	- Zornoza clocked in at 1:48.09, good for a fourth-place run in the 200 IM.
 
	- Carter Austin competed in the 3-meter dive, placing fifth with a tally of 235.15.

Both Drury swimming and diving squads will return to Breech Pool to host the Drury Invitational, Nov. 7-8.
