SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury wrestling head coach
James Reynolds has announced the team's 2025-26 schedule as the Panthers prepare to compete in their 10
th season of competition.
The Panthers begin their season with tough competition at the Missouri Duals on Sunday, Nov. 2, in Columbia, Mo. Three days later, the team heads to Arkadelphia, Ark., to face off against Ouachita Baptist.
Drury returns home to host the Drury Open on Saturday, Nov. 15. The following weekend, the Panthers head to Central Missouri to compete in the Kaufman Brand Bayly Open.
The Panthers will host two tri-meets during the first week of December. Neosho County and Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) opponent McKendree come to Springfield on Thursday, Dec. 4. Drury then hosts GLVC opponent Quincy and Labette on Saturday, Dec. 6.
After hosting multiple duals, the Panthers spend the next month on the road. Drury will compete in the 46
th annual Midwest Classic in Indianapolis, Ind., on Saturday, Dec. 13. The team continues its road stretch at the Maryville Open on Jan. 3, followed by a dual against GLVC opponent Indianapolis on Jan. 7, and the Tom Smith Open on Jan. 11.
Drury hosts its third and final tri-meet against GLVC opponent Maryville and William Woods on Saturday, Jan. 17. The Panthers close the regular season on the road at the Roger Denker Open on Jan. 18, Central Oklahoma on Jan. 30, and Upper Iowa on Feb. 5.
The postseason begins Sunday, Feb. 15, with the GLVC Championships in Quincy, Ill. The NCAA-II Super Region IV Championship is set for Feb. 27 in Edmond, Okla., followed by the NCAA-II National Championships, which begin on March 13 in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The GLVC announced its 2025-26 wrestling preseason poll on Thursday, Oct. 23, with the Panthers picked to finish fifth. McKendree topped the poll with five first-place votes, followed by Upper Iowa in second, and Indianapolis in third, receiving the only other first-place vote.
