SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Drury picked up their first win of the year with a 4-3 win over Southwest Baptist on Sunday at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield. The non-conference match lifted the Panthers to 1-3 and dropped the Bearcats to 1-2.
 
Highlights

• Drury took a 1-0 winning two of the three doubles matches and clinched the point in the number one duo of Ewa Samberger/Leana Chanove, who won 6-4 over Paula Ballesteros/Defne Ursane
• Leana Chanove won in two sets in the number two position and Ana Luisa Sathler Rosa gave Drury a 3-0 lead with a 6-2, 6-0 win
• Eliana Weichel clinched the match with a 6-1, 3-6, 6-2 win in the number six match
