SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The top of Drury's line-up led the Panthers to a 4-3 win over Newman on Friday night at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield. Drury improved to 2-4 while the Jets dropped to 2-5.
 
Highlights

• Drury took a 1-0 lead after doubles as the Panthers won two of the three doubles matches. Drury's top single team of Ewa Samberger/Leana Chanove clinched the point with a 6-3 win
• Wins by Samberger and Chanove in the one and two positions of singles gave the Panthers a 3-1 lead
• Eliana Weichel, playing in the number six match, clinched the win for Drury with a 6-1, 2-6, 6-2 win over Luciana Urey
