SPRINGFIELD, Ill.— Drury won their fifth straight match as they picked up a 5-2 win over Illinois Springfield on Saturday at the Springfield Racquet & Fitness Center in Springfield, Ill.
 
The Panthers improved to 6-4 and dropped the Prairie Stars to 0-7.
 
Highlights

• Drury took a 1-0 lead after sweeping the doubles competition.
• Ranked sixth nationally in doubles, Ewa Samberger and Leana Chanove went to 10-0 with a 6-4 win over Carmen Fabra and Ema Norma Bordean
• Franca Piaggi won Drury's first singles point with a 6-0, 6-0 win in the number six position over Man Maum
• Samberger, Chanove and Eliana Weichel also picked up singles wins
