KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Panthers had their 11-match winning streak snapped as they fell to Rockhurst 7-0 on Saturday in Kansas City, Missouri. In the final match of the regular season, the Hawks took the Great Lakes Valley Conference's West Division title as they won their eighth in a row to go to 14-5 and 5-0 in the league. Drury fell to 12-5 and 4-1 in the GLVC.
 
Highlights

• Rockhurst won all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead. In a battle of nationally-ranked doubles teams, 40^th ranked Eleanor Coleman and Zuzzana Szmyd defeated Drury's 23^rd ranked Ewa Samberger and Leana Chanove 6-0
• Samberger, ranked 46^th nationally, fell 7-5, 6-4, to 20^th ranked Eleanor Coleman
• Antanina Novik pushed Zuzanna Szmyd to a third set, but fell 6-4, 1-6, 6-3
• Franca Piaggi also went three sets before falling to Maria Chacon, 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (10-5)
