SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Two Drury women's tennis players were named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference team in an announcement made by the league this week.
Leana Chanove and
Ewa Samberger were both selected to the all-conference team in a vote of league coaches.
Chanove, a junior from Guilherand-Granges, France, earned All-GLVC honors for the second time in her career. She is 11-1 this season in singles, and has gone 14-1 in doubles play. Chanove and doubles partner

rd nationally in doubles.
Samberger is 11-3 in singles, having played exclusively in Drury's number one slot. She is currently ranked 46
th nationally in singles. Also in Drury's number one doubles position, she has gone 12-2 in doubles play this year. The senior from Lublin, Poland, has earned a position on the All-GLVC team in all four years of her career.
The Panthers are 12-5 and went 4-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and will open the GLVC Tournament in the quarterfinals on Friday. Drury is seeded second in the GLVC West Division and will take on the number three team in the East, Missouri-St. Louis. The match starts at 1 pm in Springfield, Ill.
