Nolan Moeller runner-up in 800 meter at GLVC Championships; Lauren Coleman places in two events

ROMEOVILLE, Ill.— Drury men's distance runner Nolan Moeller was the runner-up in the 800 meter run and women's sprinter Lauren Coleman placed in two events during Day Three at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Track & Field Championships on Saturday in Romeoville, Illinois.
 
Drury Highlights – GLVC Championships, Day 3
  • Lauren Coleman finished sixth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.98, the third-fastest time in team history
  • Coleman, a freshman from Mustang, Oklahoma, was also seventh in the 200 meter dash (24.65)
  • Nolan Moeller was second in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:53.73 and finished just 0.93 seconds out of first
  • Tyler Harris, who won the 10,000 meter run on Thursday night, was third in the 5000 meter run, crossing the line in 14:59.30
  • Kyle Kelter finished fourth in the 1500 meter run and posted a time of 3:58.12
  • Caden Green was seventh in the men's 110 meter hurdles and his time of 15.46 ranks fourth all-time at Drury
     
The Drury men's team finished seventh with 43 points in the final standings. Lewis won the GLVC Championship with 150 points. Lincoln was second with 131 points and Missouri S&T finished third with 119.
 
The Drury women's team scored five points and finished 13th. Lewis also won the women's conference championship and finished with 226 points. Lincoln was second with 129 points and Southwest Baptist came in third (107).
 
The Panthers will wait for invitations to the NCAA-II track & field championships May 22-24 in Pueblo, Colorado.
