Samberger Earns Third-Team Academic All-America Honors

AUSTIN, Texas – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their 2025 women's tennis academic all-American teams on June 3. Drury's Ewa Samberger earned third-team honors.
 
Samberger, a senior from Lublin, Poland, was named to her first academic all-American team. She has been a three-time academic all-district selection, while studying Cyber-Risk Management.
 
This season, she earned all-Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) honors for the second consecutive season. She played the top singles line for the Panthers the entire season and finished with a 12-4 record. Samberger had a 13-3 doubles record on the year, including a 13-2 record with Leana Chanove on the first line.
 
Ella Coleman from Rockhurst was the only other GLVC player to be named to a team; she earned first-team honors.
 
Samberger and the women's tennis team's season ended in the GLVC Semifinals. The Panthers had a 13-6 record.
