BJ Specht posted 13 kills and hit .379 to lead the Drury volleyball Panthers to a 3-0 GLVC sweep over Truman State at O'Reilly Family Event Center on Saturday.
Drury improves to 16-8 overall and 6-5 in the GLVC and Truman State falls to 13-9 overall and 6-5 in the GLVC.
Drury took the match by scores of 25-14, 25-20 and 25-17 and closed the match out with a .400 hitting percentage in the final set.
Brooke Antenen had 12 kills and led DU with 31 assists. Specht and
McKenna Poynter each paced the Panthers with 15 digs.
Bentley Mara hit .364 with seven kills and
Chloe Foster added a team-high six block solos and had six kills while hitting .333.
Up next for the Drury volleyball team will be a GLVC home contest vs. Southern Indiana on October 30
th at 7 p.m.
