The Drury volleyball Panthers took three straight from Southern Indiana in a 3-0 GLVC sweep Friday at O'Reilly Family Event Center.
Drury is now 17-8 overall and 7-5 in the GLVC and Southern Indiana goes to 17-8 overall and 6-6 in the GLVC.
Drury earned the match win over the Screaming Eagles by scores of 25-21 in the opening two sets and finished USI off with a third set 25-22 win and a .333 hitting clip in the final set. DU hit .295 for the match and held USI to a .189 hitting percentage.
BJ Specht led DU with 16 kills and hit .314 with just five errors on 35 attacks.
Laynie Timmons added 10 kills and hit a team-high .450 with just one error on 20 attacks.
Emmalee Chrest added six kills with a .308 hitting mark.
Brooke Antenen had nine kills and 38 assists and
Mallory Long and
McKenna Poynter each had a team-high 15 digs.
USI was led by Abbey Winter and Shelbi Morris who each had nine kills.
Drury will host Bellarmine tomorrow at O'Reilly Family Event Center at 1 p.m. on senior day.
