Drury Volleyball picked up its third consecutive 3-0 win by downing Bellarmine on Senior Day Saturday in Great Lakes Valley Conference action from the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
Coach
Jenifer Bahner's Panthers (18-8, 8-5 in the GLVC) won by scores of 25-21, 25-22 and 27-25, rallying from an early six-point deficit in the latter to seal the match and win for the fifth time in their last six matches.
Bellarmine fell to 10-17 and 2-11.
Brooke Antenen and
BJ Specht had 13 kills each while
Laynie Timmons added 11 for the Panthers, who got 30 assists from Antenen.
McKenna Poynter had 14 digs, with Specht and
Mallory Long adding 10 each for DU, which honored Specht, Timmons, Long,
Chloe Foster and
Katelynn Slade (16 assists) in pre-game Senior Day festivities.
The Panthers return to the GLVC road next week at Illinois Springfield and McKendree.
