SPRINGFIELD, Ill. –
Brooke Antenen paced the Drury Volleyball Panthers with 15 kills and 37 assists in a 3-1 GLVC road victory over Illinois-Springfield here on Friday.
Drury improves to 19-8 overall and 9-5 in the GLVC and Illinois-Springfield falls to 5-22 overall, 2-12 overall.
Drury posted winning match scores of 26-28, 25-18, 25-18 and 25-14.
Three Panthers joined Antenen with double-figure kills, those being
Bentley Mara with season high 12,
BJ Specht with 11 hitting .308 and
Laynie Timmons with 10 and a .333 hitting mark.
McKenna Poynter led the Panthers with 20 digs.
Drury hit .271 for the match and hit above the .300 mark in sets two and three with a .333 in the second set and a .343 in the third set. The Prairie Starts were held to a .121 hitting percentage with 21 errors on 124 attacks.
Up next for the Panthers will be another GLVC contest at McKendree on Saturday at 3 p.m.
