ST. LOUIS – The Drury volleyball Panthers fell 3-2 in their regular season finale at Missouri-St. Louis on Saturday.
Drury finishes the regular season with a 21-10 overall record and an 11-7 record in the GLVC and USML ends their regular season with a record of 16-16 overall and 9-9 in the GLVC.
The Tritons earned the win by scores of 25-20, 25-21, 21-25, 23-25 and 15-7.
Laynie Timmons led Drury with a team-high 18 kills which matched her season-high and a .444 hitting percentage with
BJ Specht having a career high 30 digs and adding 15 kills.
McKenna Poynter led the Panthers with 33 digs. Carly Ochs had a team-high 22 kills for UMSL.
Next up for the Drury volleyball Panthers will be opening round action at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament starting on November 20 in Naperville, Illinois.
