The Drury Volleyball Panthers continue to roll through GLVC play posting a 3-0 shutout victory over Saint Joseph's on Saturday at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
Drury smashed the Pumas in the opening set 25-6 then finished them off with a pair of 25-14 set wins. The Panthers moved to 11-2 overall and 3-1 in the GLVC with the victory. Saint Joseph's fell to 4-6 overall and 0-4 in the GLVC.
Laynie Timmons had a team-high 10 kills and hit .533 with just two errors on 15 attacks.
BJ Specht had eight kills and hit .312 and
Brooke Antenen added seven kills and has 21 assists. Malloy Long chipped in a team-high 13 digs and had four serving aces.
Katelynn Slade had a team-high six serving aces for DU.
Drury finished the match with a .325 hitting percentage while the Pumas struggled hitting -.066.
Next up for the Drury volleyball Panthers will be a GLVC match vs. Missouri-St. Louis next Friday at the O'Reilly Family Event Center set for 7 p.m.
