DU Women's Tennis Proves Too Much to Handle in 9-0 Win Over Newman

The No. 20 Drury women's tennis team was too much to handle for Newman with a 9-0 Panther victory Friday at Cooper Tennis Complex.

Drury improved to 6-0 and Newman dropped to 2-3.

Doubles went the way of the Panthers by scores of 8-4, 8-1 and 8-1.

Singles was all Panthers with the only three set match being a win by Lara Muller at No. 2 by a 6-3, 4-6(10-8) score.

Drury will host Lewis University in a non-conference match at Cooper Tennis Complex on Sunday at 10:15 a.m.
