SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The 14^th ranked Drury women's tennis team ended the regular season with a 9-0 win over Truman State at the Cooper Tennis Complex on Saturday.
 
Drury improved to 18-2, 5-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and the Panthers finished in a three-way tie for first in the West Division with Rockhurst and Missouri-St. Louis. Truman State dropped to 4-13 and 1-5 in the league.
 
The Panthers started with a sweep in the three doubles matches as JiaQuing Mo and Lara Muller defeated Lauren Jin and Maura Dunn 8-3. Cheng Yen-Huang and Josphenie Jedrychowski also won by an 8-3 score as they downed Marisa Thome and Lindsey Schlichting. Arianna Demo and Larissa Karl won 8-4 over Finessa Rassel and Elise Mousseau.
 
Drury won each of the six singles matches and won every set. Jedrychowski won her first set 6-0 and picked up a win after Maura Dunn retired one game into the second set. JiaQuing Mo, the reigning GLVC Player of the Week, won her singles pairing 6-1, 6-0 over Elise Mousseau.
 
With the final regular season match, the Panthers celebrated Senior Day and Drury's lone women's senior, Lara Muller, got a 6-2, 6-2 win over Marisa Thome.
 
Drury opens play in the GLVC tournament on Friday. The Panthers are the number two seed in the GLVC-West and will face Lewis, the third seed from the East Division at 9 a.m. at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis, Missouri on April 21.
