SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Drury women's tennis team will play Missouri-St. Louis in the opening round of the NCAA-II Midwest Regional on Monday in Midland, Michigan.
 
The Panthers advanced to the national tournament with an at-large bid and are seeded third in the regional with a 20-3 record. UMSL is seeded sixth with a 14-2 record. Both Tritons losses have been to Drury and both were 5-4 matches.
 
Drury is in the national tournament for the 16^th consecutive season and last year advanced to the national quarterfinals. The Panthers are coming off of a second place finish in the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament and fell 5-4 to Indianapolis.
 
The winner of Monday's match will play the winner of the opening round match between the second seeded host Northwood (20-2) and seventh seeded Lewis (16-7). The second round is scheduled for Tuesday and the winner of the bracket will advance to the round of 16 held May 9-13 in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
