The 14

In doubles play at No. 1,
Lara Muller and
JiaQing Mo prevailed 8-1. At No. 2, the Saints fought past DU for an 8-6 win, and at No. 3,
Josephine Jedrychowski and
Chung-Yen Huang picked up an 8-4 victory to put the Panthers in position to grab a win.
In singles play, the top of the lineup pitted two of the best players in the Midwest Region, 4

th-nationally, cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win. The top of the Panther lineup proved too much for the Saints, with Muller picking up a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 2, and Yen-Huang winning 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3.
Drury finished Maryville off with wins of 6-1, 7-5 by Mo at No. 4, and Jedrychowski blanked Kine Kleppe 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5. Maryville posted a 6-0, 6-4 win for their second point at the No. 6 spot.
"Today was a well fought victory for the ladies," said Drury head coach
Jarrod Smith. "There was a slight breeze at Cooper Tennis Complex today, which made the balls a bit shifty. Such a day can wreak havoc on the mental faculties of a player and can be quite frustrating. The ladies handled the situation in stride and came out with a fine victory."
On April 14, Drury will face Quincy in a GLVC home match, set for a 2 p.m. start at Cooper Tennis Complex.
