SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The 12^th ranked Drury women's tennis team remained perfect on the season with an 8-1 win over Lindenwood on Sunday at Cooper Tennis Complex.

Drury improved to 6-0 for the year with the victory, while the Lions fell to 1-4.

Drury opened by winning all three doubles matches. The tandem of Chung-Yen Huang and Larissa Karl improved to 5-0 this season with an 8-0 win, while Josephine Jedrychowski and Svea Voigt battled for an 8-4 win. Drury claimed a win by default at No. 3 doubles. 

Drury now has an overall doubles record this season of 15-3.

In singles, Dana Minakova could not overcome Viktoriya Zheleva and fell 6-4, 6-0. Jedrychowski pulled out her match 6-7, 6-3 (10-8), while Julia Schepp put together a dominant 6-3, 6-0 sweep to round out the top half of the Drury lineup.

Voigt improved her record to 4-0 in singles play this season with a 6-0, 6-0 blanking over Savannah Martin. Drury claimed a win by default at No. 6 singles.

Drury will host Newman University on February 23 at Cooper Tennis Complex with match time set for 8 p.m.
