SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The 12th ranked Drury women's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 victory over McKendree Sunday at Cooper Tennis Complex.

Drury (2-0) swept the Bearcats in singles play and picked up 6-0, 6-0 victories by Viktoriya Zheleva and Julia Schepp.  McKendree had to forfeit their No. 6 position in the lineup. 

Drury distanced themselves from McKendree in doubles play by picking up wins of 8-1 at No. 1 by JiaQing Mo and Schepp, and 8-0 at No. 2 by Seva Voigt and Zheleva.  The Bearcats forfeited No. 3 doubles.

On February 9th, Drury will play host to Harding at Cooper Tennis Complex at 7 p.m.
