No. 10 DU Women's Tennis Blows Past South Dakota State 7-2

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The 10th-ranked Drury women's tennis team handed NCAA-I foe South Dakota State a 7-2 loss Sunday at Cooper Tennis Complex.

Drury improved to 9-0 for the year with the victory, while the South Dakota State fell to 0-12.

Drury took two of the three doubles matches for an early 2-1 advantage. Drury took the top doubles match 8-5 and posted a 9-7 victory at No. 3 doubles.

In singles, Drury won No. 1 through 5 to put the match away with Josephine Jedrychowski (6-0, 6-0) and Chung-Yen Huang (6-2, 6-3) posting the most dominant victories for the Panthers.

Drury will host Cameron University on March 24 at Cooper Tennis Complex with match time set for 1 p.m.
