SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The 12th-ranked Drury women's tennis fell 7-2 to Cameron University Saturday at Cooper Tennis Complex.

Drury suffered their first loss of the season and is now 9-1 for the year, while Cameron improved to 9-4.

Cameron took two of three doubles matches to go up 2-1 with wins of 8-6 and 8-0 at the top and bottom of the doubles lineup.  Drury won 8-4 at No. 2 with JiaQing Mo and Julia Schepp beating Sarah Frendo and Sara Petric.

In singles, Cameron proved too much to handle winning five of the six singles matches with Schepp pulling out a 6-1, 7-6 victory at No. 5 for the Panthers.

Drury will host Washington University (Mo.) on March 26 at Cooper Tennis Complex with match time set for 2 p.m.
