Drury's top dozen moments from 2017-18- No. 2: Bailee Nunn wins four national titles

This week, we will continue to reveal our Drury Dozen – the top 12 moments from 2017-18 as voted on by members of the Drury University athletics media relations team that covered a variety of DU sports throughout the year.

The list on this countdown does not reflect the most significant moments from the year, although the biggest games/events certainly played a part in our decision. Ultimately, these were our favorite moments from the previous year and the ones that we will likely always associate with the 2017-18 sports season.

#2 – Bailee Nunn wins four swimming national titles
An injury kept her out of the GLVC championship meet, and she hadn't competed in two months. But Bailee Nunn returned for the NCAA-II national championship meet in Charlotte, North Carolina and emerged with four national titles.

The sophomore from Marshfield, Missouri won the 200-yard breaststroke, the 200 individual medley, the 100 butterfly, and the 100 breaststroke. Nunn also picked up two second-place finishes on a pair of relay teams in the 400 freestyle and the 200 freestyle.

The points Nunn racked up helped Drury to a national runner-up finish. After the meet, she was named the NCAA-II Women's Swimmer of the Year and was nominated for the 2017-18 NCAA-II Honda Women's Athlete of the Year.
