INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- Bellarmine rallied to knock off 22nd ranked Drury 4-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament quarterfinals at the University of Indianapolis Tennis Center in Indianapolis, Indiana on Friday.

The Panthers, seeded number one from the West Division, fell to 14-4 while the Knights, who finished fourth in the East, raised their record to 12-8.

Bellarmine took a 1-0 lead after doubles getting a 6-3 win from the team of Aubrey Smith and Madison Devillez over
Isabella Melena and
Julia Schepp, and a 7-6 victory from Jennifer Skoniezny and Ava Ratcliff against
Josephine Jedrychowski and
Viktoriya Zheleva.

The Panthers won their top three singles match-ups, but Bellarmine won in positions four through six to clinch the win.

The Knights advance to the GLVC semifinals where they will play Missouri-St. Louis on Saturday.

Drury, currently ranked second in the Midwest Region, will wait for the NCAA tournament selection announcement to know their seeding and site for their opening round match in the NCAA-II sub-regional that starts on May 13.
