LIBERTY, Mo.- Drury improved to 11-3 and 3-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with a 7-0 win at William Jewell on Friday in Liberty, Missouri. The Cardinals fell to 6-11 and 0-2 in the GLVC.
 
Drury's doubles team of JiaQing Mo and Yu-Ning Lee, ranked 14th nationally in doubles, were knocked off by Becca Richison and Hannah Waine 6-2 but the Panthers won the other two doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead. Josephine Jedrychowski and Viktoriya Zheleva won 6-0 over Gillian Evans and Whitney Holloman while Isabella Melena and Julia Schepp also posted a 6-0 win as they shutout Caroline Lane and Meredith Houk.
 
The Panthers, ranked 18th in NCAA-II this week, won all six singles matches and won nearly every game. Lee and Mo won their singles matches 6-0, 6-0 while Jedrychowski and Schepp dropped just one game each in their straight-set wins.
 
Drury continues their Kansas City area road trip on Saturday as they play at Rockhurst for an  11 am scheduled match.
