The Drury Dozen is an annual list of our favorite moments of the year from Drury Athletics. The list is not necessarily the most significant events but the special games and moments we will always associate with 2021-22.
Â
We'll provide honorable mention selections later in the countdown, but, for now, here is our seventh entry from 2021-22:
Â
#6 – Lady Panthers win the GLVC title   Â
Â
March 6, 2022 – Edwardsville, Ill.
The Drury Dynasty continued as the Lady Panthers captured their sixth-straight Great Lakes Valley Conference championship as they defeated Lewis 76-47 to win the tournament title in Edwardsville, Illinois, on March 6.
Â
It was another vintage defensive performance by the Lady Panthers as they held the Flyers to fewer than 50 points, forced 25 turnovers, and limited Lewis to 17-of-52 from the field in the game.
Â
The championship was Drury's ninth title in 15 years as a GLVC member.
