INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Drury wrestling finished 25^th among 38 teams at the 38^th Annual Midwest Classic hosted by the University of Indianapolis on Dec. 17 and 18.
 
Jared Rennick finished fifth in the 197 weight class. The freshman from Washington, Missouri advanced to the semifinals on Sunday where he lost in overtime to James Lehman of Limestone College. After dropping his consolation semifinal match, Rennick ended his tournament with a 4-2 win over Joe Gomez of Northern State University who was an NCAA-II finalist last year.
 
John Oss finished seventh in the tournament wrestling at 184 pounds. Oss lost in the consolation fifth round but won his seventh place match with a win via fall at 1:35 against Taylor DeLong from Indianapolis.
 
The Panthers are idle until Jan. 4 when they host their first intercollegiate match in program history with a dual against Central Missouri. Start time is 7 p.m. at Weiser Gym.
