MOORHEAD, Minn. – Drury wrestler Jared Rennick finished sixth in the 197-pound weight class at the NCAA-II Super Regional held in Moorhead, Minnesota on Saturday.
 
Rennick, a freshman from Washington, Missouri, advanced to the semifinals with a pair of wins on Friday. Ethan Sheretz of Maryville handed Rennick his first loss of the postseason winning by fall in 2:57. Rennick was then edged by Joe Gomez of Northern State 5-2 sending him to the fifth place match. Vince Dietz, who went 27-5 on the season for St. Cloud State, defeated Rennick by fall in 2:25 for fifth place honors.
 
Rennick ended his first collegiate season with a 21-13 record.
 
The Drury University wrestling program completed their inaugural season in the NCAA-II Super Regional tournament. The Panthers finished with 10.5 points in the tournament and were 13^th in the 15-team field.
