KIRKSVILLE, Mo.– The Drury University wrestling team picked up a Great Lakes Valley Conference win as they split a pair of duals on Sunday in Kirksville, Missouri. The Panthers lost to third-ranked Wisconsin-Parkside 42-0 but bounced back to defeat host Truman State 32-18.
 
Drury took control of their dual with the Bulldogs with three straight wins starting with Ben Stahlman's victory at 157 pounds. Stahlman pinned Angelo Talabert in 2:03. Grant Taylor, at 165 pounds, won by major decision, 10-2, over Zach Taylor, and Jacob Brune also picked up a major decision win shutting out Luke Komotos 8-0 at 174 pounds.
 
Drury ended the day with a 2-10 record and a 1-5 mark in the GLVC. Wisconsin-Parkside went to 12-1 and 5-1 in the conference while Truman State went to 1-11 and 0-6 in the league. 
 
Drury is back in action on Tuesday when they travel to the University of Central of Missouri for a dual that starts at 7 p.m. in Warrensburg.
